I woke up pretty bloated and not at all hungry thanks to pre-challenge ice cream & chips before bed last night. So breakfast consisted of iced coffee and a couple strawberries. I packed up the kiddos and headed to Carson City this morning to hit up Trader Joe's and Costco. I realized it was after 1pm and I hadn't really eaten anything yet so I went through the McDonald's drive-thru on the way home to get a side salad and topped it with a can of sardines.
Sorry if that is not at all appetizing to some of you, but its really not bad and a super easy meal when you are in a rush. I buy sardines packed in olive oil at Costco & always keep them around for a snack or meal addition in a pinch :)
Dinner was a little more traditional:
I cooked a whole chicken in a rotisserie machine (thanks Dad!), steamed some broccoli and threw together a salad topped with Paleo Ranch Dressing. And that is all I will be eating today, drinking some water and heading to bed. Tomorrow I will be doing the first of three benchmark workouts. It is called "Randy" and consists of 75 Power Snatches for time (55lbs). Wish me luck :)
